Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Shillong
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and drive to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, famously known as “The Scotland of the East.”
- Enroute, visit the picturesque Umiam Lake, a serene spot surrounded by lush green hills.
- In the evening, explore the bustling Police Bazaar, the commercial hub of Shillong.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunji Sightseeing
- After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, the wettest place on Earth.
- Enroute, visit the famous Elephant Falls, a three-tiered cascade amidst the greenery.
- Sightseeing in Cherrapunji includes:
- Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint
- The Garden of Caves, a natural treasure trove of caves and waterfalls.
- Wah Kaba Falls and Dainthlen Falls.
- The stunning Wei Sawdong Waterfalls and Noh Ka Likai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India.
- Arwah Cave and Mawsmai Caves, known for their limestone formations.
- Eco Park and the breathtaking Seven Sister Waterfalls.
- Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 3: Cherrapunji – Dawki – Mawlynnong Village
- After breakfast, drive to Dawki, located near the Indo-Bangladesh border.
- Enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of Umngot River, an unforgettable experience.
- Proceed to Mawlynnong Village, famously recognized as the cleanest village in Asia.
- Visit the Single Decker Root Bridge and the Balancing Rock.
- Climb the Sky View Tower, an 85-ft bamboo structure, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and the Indo-Bangladesh border.
- Overnight stay in Mawlynnong Village.
Day 4: Mawlynnong Village – Jowai – Shillong
- After breakfast, drive to Jowai, a scenic town in Meghalaya.
- Sightseeing in Jowai includes:
- Krang Suri Waterfalls, an exotic and popular waterfall in the region.
- Phe Phe Falls and Tyrshi Falls, two stunning waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery.
- Nartiang Durga Temple, one of the oldest Durga temples in Meghalaya.
- Nartiang Monoliths, a cluster of giant monoliths that stand as historical markers.
- Later, drive back to Shillong.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong – Mawphlang Sacred Grove – Mawsynram – Shillong
- After breakfast, drive to Mawphlang Sacred Grove, a sacred forest with a diverse range of flora, including orchids and medicinal plants.
- Continue to Mawsynram, the wettest place in India, located in the East Khasi Hills district.
- Visit Mawjymbuin Cave, a natural cave featuring a Shiva Linga formed by stalactites.
- Explore the Mawsynram Cave and Mawphlang Dam.
- Return to Shillong in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 6: Shillong – Laitlum Canyons – Guwahati
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Laitlum Canyons, a spectacular natural formation offering panoramic views of gorges and rolling hills.
- Return to Shillong and visit:
- Ward’s Lake, popular for boating and garden walks.
- Shillong Golf Course, one of the oldest golf courses in India.
- Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Northeast India.
- St. Cathedral Church, a prominent religious site in Shillong.
- Later, drive to Guwahati and drop off at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station.

Itinerary Modifications: Northeast Destination reserves the right to modify the itinerary to accommodate hotel availability. Such changes will not affect the total number of days at each destination, or the quality of services offered.
Vehicle Usage: The vehicle provided (AC/Non-AC) is strictly for point-to-point transfers as outlined in the itinerary and will not be available for personal use beyond the planned schedule. Guests are required to adhere to the itinerary provided.
No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show on the scheduled booking date, no refunds will be processed.
Amendments Post-Booking: Any modifications requested after booking confirmation may incur additional charges, which will be borne by the customer.
PAYMENT TERMS
Booking Confirmation: A 40% advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure reservations.
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least one (1) day prior to the travel date.
Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings are made under a special corporate non-refundable policy.
