Day 1: Guwahati Sightseeing

Arrive at Guwahati Railway Station / Guwahati Airport and begin your spiritual and cultural journey.
Sightseeing includes:

• Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hills – a sacred Shakti Peetha and major tantric shrine in India.

• Umananda Temple – located on the world’s smallest inhabited river island, also known as Peacock Island, accessible by a chartered ferry.

• Enjoy India’s longest ropeway ride over the Brahmaputra River, connecting Kachari Ghat to Dol Govinda Temple. The 2 km journey offers breathtaking views of:

  • Brahmaputra River

  • Umananda Temple

  • Peacock Island

  • Urvashi Island

• Visit Sankardev Kalakshetra – a cultural center that showcases the life, art, and heritage of Assam.

• Evening visit to Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, a serene and elegant temple complex.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati – Sualkuchi – Hajo – Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, proceed for a cultural and spiritual excursion before entering the wilds of Pobitora.
Enroute visits include:

• Sualkuchi Village – known as the “Manchester of the East”, famous for its rich silk weaving tradition and Assamese textile heritage.

• Hajo – a sacred town for Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists. Key attractions:

  • Hayagriva Madhava Temple – revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.

  • Powa Mecca – an important Muslim pilgrimage site.

  • Kedareswara Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After lunch, drive to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary – famous for its high density of one-horned rhinoceroses.
Check in at your resort and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Overnight stay in Pobitora.

Day 3: Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary – Guwahati Departure

Early morning, enjoy a jungle safari on elephant back (at own expense) in Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot the famed one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffaloes, and migratory birds.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

1. Itinerary Modifications: Northeast Destination reserves the right to modify the itinerary to accommodate hotel availability. Such changes will not affect the total number of days at each destination, or the quality of services offered.

2. Vehicle Usage: The vehicle provided (AC/Non-AC) is strictly for point-to-point transfers as outlined in the itinerary and will not be available for personal use beyond the planned schedule. Guests are required to adhere to the itinerary provided.

3. No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show on the scheduled booking date, no refunds will be processed.

4. Amendments Post-Booking: Any modifications requested after booking confirmation may incur additional charges, which will be borne by the customer.

PAYMENT TERMS

1. Booking Confirmation: A 40% advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure reservations.

2. Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least one (1) day prior to the travel date.

3. Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings are made under a special corporate non-refundable policy.
