Day 1: Guwahati Arrival – River Island & Sunset Cruise

Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and freshening up, enjoy a serene spiritual and scenic experience:

• Board a chartered ferry to Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island, the world’s smallest inhabited river island – known for its beauty and spiritual ambiance.

• In the evening, experience a River Cruise on the Brahmaputra and soak in the golden hues of sunset.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati Sightseeing – Drive to Shillong

Early morning visit to:

• Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hills – one of the 108 Shakti Pethas and a major center of the tantric tradition.

Later, drive towards Shillong – the capital of Meghalaya, often called the “Scotland of the East.”
Enroute stop:

• Umiam Lake (Barapani) – a beautiful man-made reservoir surrounded by pine-covered hills.

Evening free to explore the bustling Police Bazaar, Shillong’s most popular market for shopping and food.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.
Enroute visit:

• Elephant Falls – a scenic multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by greenery.

Cherrapunji sightseeing includes:

• Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint

• The Garden of Caves – a hidden gem with natural pools and waterfalls

• Wah Kaba Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls – each unique in form and setting

• Arwah Cave – limestone cave known for fossils and rock formations

• Noh Ka Likai Falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India

• Eco Park and Mawsmai Caves

• Seven Sisters Waterfalls – named after the seven northeastern states

Evening return to Shillong.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong

After breakfast, begin a scenic drive towards Dawki, near the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Enroute:

• Shillong Peak – the highest point in the city offering panoramic views.

At Dawki:

• Enjoy boating on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River – famed for its transparent depth.

Later, visit Mawlynnong Village – Asia’s Cleanest Village. Attractions include:

• Single Decker Living Root Bridge – a marvel of bioengineering.

• Balancing Rock – a natural wonder.

• Sky Walk Viewpoint – a bamboo tower offering breathtaking views of the village and Bangladesh plains.

Evening return to Shillong.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5: Shillong – Laitlum Canyon – Guwahati Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive to Laitlum Canyons – known as the “End of the Hills,” offering dramatic views of deep gorges and lush hillscapes.
Return to Shillong and visit:

• Ward’s Lake – ideal for boating and garden walks.

• Shillong Golf Course – one of the oldest natural golf courses in India.

• Don Bosco Museum – showcasing the heritage of Northeast India.

• St. Cathedral Church – one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Shillong.

Later, drive to Guwahati and drop at your hotel or onward destination.

2. Vehicle Usage: The vehicle provided (AC/Non-AC) is strictly for point-to-point transfers as outlined in the itinerary and will not be available for personal use beyond the planned schedule. Guests are required to adhere to the itinerary provided.

3. No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show on the scheduled booking date, no refunds will be processed.

4. Amendments Post-Booking: Any modifications requested after booking confirmation may incur additional charges, which will be borne by the customer.

PAYMENT TERMS

1. Booking Confirmation: A 40% advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure reservations.

2. Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least one (1) day prior to the travel date.

3. Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings are made under a special corporate non-refundable policy.
