Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati Sightseeing
- Arrival in Guwahati: Arrive at Guwahati Railway Station or Guwahati Airport. Visit the Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hills, one of the 108 Shakti Peethas in India.
- Umananda Temple: Take a ferry to Umananda Island, the smallest inhabited river island, also called Peacock Island.
- Brahmaputra River Ropeway: Experience India’s longest river ropeway, offering panoramic views of the Brahmaputra River, Urvashi, and Peacock Island.
- Sankardev Kalakshetra: Explore this cultural hub that beautifully depicts Assamese life and culture.
- Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple: Visit this peaceful temple in the evening.
- Overnight Stay in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
- Drive to Kaziranga: After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 4.5 hrs). Check in to the hotel.
- Kaziranga National Orchid Park: Visit the Kaziranga National Orchid Park, showcasing over 500 varieties of orchids and a bamboo park with 54 species unique to the Northeast.
- Overnight Stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga Safari and Travel to Majuli
- Elephant Safari: Start the day with an Elephant Safari in the Bagori (Western) Range of Kaziranga, spotting the one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife.
- Jeep Safari: After breakfast, enjoy a Jeep Safari in the Kohora (Central) Range.
- Ferry to Majuli: Drive to the ferry point for a 2-hour ride across the Brahmaputra River to Majuli Island.
- Overnight Stay in Majuli.
Day 4: Majuli Sightseeing and Sivasagar
- Majuli Sightseeing: Visit Kamalabari Satra, Dakshinapat Satra, Auniati Satra, Tengapania, and Benegenaati Satra, experiencing the cultural and spiritual essence of the island.
- Drive to Sivasagar: After lunch, head to Sivasagar (approx. 2.5 hrs).
- Overnight Stay in Sivasagar.
Day 5: Sivasagar Sightseeing
- Sivasagar Tour: Visit the iconic landmarks of Sivasagar including:
- Rang Ghar: An ancient amphitheater and one of the oldest in Asia.
- Tolatol Ghar: A distinctive structure built by the Ahom kings.
- Shiva Dole: A large temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Shivasagar Tank (Barpukhuri): A significant water tank with historical importance.
- Kareng Ghar (Gargaon Palace): The royal palace of the Ahom kings.
- Charaideo Maidam: Ancient burial mounds reflecting the rich history of the Ahom dynasty.
- Overnight Stay in Sivasagar.
Day 6: Sivasagar to Jorhat/Guwahati
- Departure: After breakfast, drive to Jorhat or Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.

Itinerary Modifications: Northeast Destination reserves the right to modify the itinerary to accommodate hotel availability. Such changes will not affect the total number of days at each destination, or the quality of services offered.
Vehicle Usage: The vehicle provided (AC/Non-AC) is strictly for point-to-point transfers as outlined in the itinerary and will not be available for personal use beyond the planned schedule. Guests are required to adhere to the itinerary provided.
No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show on the scheduled booking date, no refunds will be processed.
Amendments Post-Booking: Any modifications requested after booking confirmation may incur additional charges, which will be borne by the customer.
PAYMENT TERMS
Booking Confirmation: A 40% advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure reservations.
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least one (1) day prior to the travel date.
Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings are made under a special corporate non-refundable policy.
