Journey Roadmap

Arrive at Guwahati airport and drive to Kaziranga (250 km / 5 hrs drive). Check-in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park: It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. Note: Please be informed that elephant ride, jeep safari, and forest entry are regulated and controlled by the forest dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control over the booking of elephant seats and entry by jeeps.

After breakfast, enjoy the Park on a Jeep. Evening visits the tea garden or Kaziranga Orchid park. Overnight at Kaziranga.

After breakfast drive to Shillong (290 km / 7 hrs drive approx). Check in at hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee (60 km/2 ½ hrs). Check in hotel and promptly visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah. Overnight halt. Note: Please note that all sightseeing is possible if time permits and all waterfalls are active during monsoon season.

After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Mawlynnong (90 km/3 hrs). Reach Mawlynnong and visit Mawlynnong village (The cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong, is a pleasant place where you can visit and unwind. The rains bring out the luscious greens of the trees and forests. The gorgeous green grasses do bring out the beauty of the village.), living root bridge. Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong. After lunch drive to Dawki (35 km/1 ½ hrs) and boating at Umngot river – the crystal clear water river. Later drive back to Shillong (90 km/3 hrs). Check in hotel at Shilong. Overnight at Shillong.

After breakfast, Check out the hotel and drive to Guwahati airport (140 km/ 4 hrs drive approx) for an onward journey.
