PT Tso Lake
P.T Tso Lake, also known as Pankang Teng Tso Lake, is a picturesque high-altitude lake located in the Tawang district. The lake is situated at an altitude of 4,640 meters (15,223 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush green forests.

Local legend says the pass is named after a Monpa woman, Sela, who gave her life during battle — a story of loyalty and courage that makes the journey even more moving.

A little further along stands the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who held off enemy forces during the 1962 Indo-China war. The Indian Army still maintains his post as if he were alive, keeping his legacy of bravery alive for all who pass through.
